Asheville vs. South Point

I have been reading some other community boards and they are numerous threads that say that Asheville is a fluke and South Point will totally destroy Asheville without even a whimper. I know that South Point scores a lot of points. They win by an average of 35 points or so. Somebody spread some light Friday nights semi-final at Asheville.

enkaball05................i dont know i would say w/o a whimper but i picked south point in a contest recently????? i see a battle but SP is fast, quick and well coached and just my opinion> SP stomped crest this year and i think crest lost to asheville last year maybe! Help Smashmouth!!!! Good luck to Asheville!

 

Asheville is no fluke - they have a very good team. You have to have a good team to be 14-0 this time of the year.

But South Point is just an incredible team - other than a close loss in their first game they have blown out every team they played - blew them out in the first half.

It's just a shame there isn't another 3A team to test them. I would like to see a team that good play a tight game to see how they would react if somebody took a lead on them in the 2nd half. But that ain't gonna happen

 

We (Mooresville) lost at South Point in the third round last year 12-10. You know the one thing that impressed me the most about them? It's their line play on BOTH sides of the ball, we were darn good up front too, but they whipped us with out a doubt. You always hear alot about Brown and Williams but make no mistake about it, they WILL beat you up front. I see South Point winning this game.

 

South Point will walk the dog on Asheville. This is one of those special teams that don't come around often. This South Point team can play with anybody in the state.
