    Just wondering what their thoughts were on Josh Benton being an unsigned senior and Chris Taylor (junior catcher) who has been on an absolute tear this year? Both from Mt. Pleasant by the way.

    Okay I admit it. I am cheap. But if someone has access to Impact Baseball's site, I would like to see a few things. One is the Top 50 unsigned Senoirs. The second is the best pitching duos in NC.

    I don't have any children playing HS/Legion or young enough myself so I am not going to get the subscription, but I would just like to see the names.

    But that's exactly what can't be done.... If you have questions about a particular guy or duo, you can post them and see if they are answerable.... that's about it.

    This is to talk about individual players .... that's it...

    Top pitching duos

    The #1 pitching staff in NC is hands down Fuquay. They have a trio of aces in McLaurin(NCSU), Honeycutt(USC), and Price(Campbell). They also have two pretty talented young pitchers in Junior Joe McIynter and Soph. TL Bradley.

    As far as duos it's a close call between Garner and Fuquay in the east. Garner with Hempy(USC) and Stanley(unsigned) and Fuquay with Honeycutt and McLaurin. You can't go wrong with either ,but I would have to give the edge to Fuquay taking that they beat Garner twice already this year.

    Two questions:

    1) What is your opinion of the Top 4A schools in the Western part of NC vs the Top 4A schools in the East...has any team surprised you?

    2) ...and this is a statement. We are still waiting on the Food Critique of the tournaments and HS ballparks....we need this info for our end of the year awards :)

    Having had some opportunity to witness ImpactBB's comparative amount of time spent observing players vs. trying various concession stands' culinary delicacies, I intend to put MUCH more stock in his player assessments than his food critiques.

    I have not seen Benton pitch since last summer. I'm not sure what you are asking about him being an unsigned senior? From what I'm told he's a sure fire college guy.

    I have yet to see Taylor. I did hear that he's playing for Mike Shildt's club this summer. I look forward to seeing him play.

    Oh, Prepster, I agree with your assessment, but one has to understand when taking on the responsisbilty of such an important assignment that your editor does have a deadline :D

    "On another note, I can't say I'm the "TBR" Food Judge... Well, I guess I could be if you wanted me to "Braves?"
