    Minor league ball

If I am not mistaken most of them reported to a Gulf Coast team a few days after signing. Coach May can shed some light as to when Chris Luck reported?

It varies by club (and, somewhat by position), but most report to spring training during the last week of February. Most won't know their actual assignment until near the end of spring training, the last week of March.

Agree with Prepster.....based on my son's experience the last two years most of the minor league guys report to Spring training the last week February and will not know their assignments until the end of March....the Minor League (full season) starts April 1 in most places.:vork:

    Trickle Down Effect

    There's always this to consider.

When big league camp is required to reduce its numbers those AAA/AA guys that they plan on keeping (and were at the big league camp) get pushed down. This in turn pushes others down.

Yogi wasn't talking about minor league assignments when he said what he said but it applies here too. "It ain't over 'til it's over."

The moral of the story is not to count your chickens. When camp breaks and you're headed where you're headed...............that's your assignment.

That is until it's changed! LOL.
