    WCU Coach Bobby Moranda anounced the signing of Patton High School seniors (and former Foothills Phantoms) players Aaron Attaway and Dykota Spiess to National Letters of Intent.

    Congratulations to a couple of great youg men and tremendous ballplayers. Both have worked tremendously hard over the years and have provided their parents, coaches and fans with many lifelong memories.
    We will watch with great interest your Senior season and you future collegiate careers.

    Outstanding news for two of the best in this state!!!!!! It's about time we heard from Western Carolina---and what a way for us to hear.

    Congradulations to 2 fine young men and great baseball players. Tyler really enjoyed the tournaments he played with you guys on the "Foothill Phantoms" Im sure Mark has a big smile on his face since he coached these two for so long! Good luck at WCU and I'm sure we will meet on the field again.
