I think there will be a couple teams in the Big South that will have something for South Point this year.

    3A

Harnett Central should again contend for honors with pitching lefty Lauren Taylor returning for her sr. season.

I guess I could go off on a limb and consider Kings Mountain and Enka as 3A contenders in the West.

    speaking of sr's

    W. Johnston in 4A had 1 senior last year, and looks like none or 1 senior this year. they are loaded with jr's; it will be (almost) an all junior team for the varsity.

From what I understand Forbush had no seniors last year and will bring a very strong team into the season.

They lost their pitcher and 3rd base er person. Everyone else will be back.

Oh, and I do wish you would make your predictions again this year and put SP in the category with 'everybody else' again...that was some kinda good ADDED motivation.

    why none from some classes?

if I am reading correctly about 3 teams are named with no players from certain classes & some of these schools are very large enrollments; undoubtedly there are more out there as well.

what are reasons you would have HS varsity softball teams with no players from some classes? I know what it's about in our case (talent was loaded in one class) ; just wanted to hear from others with this situation.
