Thank you for all the great updates coach. It is unfortunate we tend to run into hand-picked premier teams at the regional level while we are not afforded the same luxury.

Only three days before the state tournaments started, we were unsure whether we could even field a team for both tournaments. Coaches had conflicts with schedules and players were disappearing for various reasons.

I cannot say "Thank you" enough to Donald, Orlando, and Derrick for taking the 18's and doing such a fantastic job. Assembling a team in such short order and winning the state title with an overall tournament record of 5-2 after the regional is nothing short of amazing. Joe Lebeda from North Wake CBA overcame the same challenges with the 16's. He had some assistance from Al Bolton of Franklin County, but Joe largely had to coach the team alone during games, so a state title with a 4-2 tournament record was no small feat either.

Great job coaches, and a big thank you to the players for representing Triangle Senior so well!
