    Player Expectations

Scout, can you talk a little bit about the expectations of your organization with respect to signed, position players and a "timetable", if there is such a thing with respect to their professional development? What factors come into play when a decision is made to keep a player, trade him, or give him his release?

Great question Papabear.......and one that I'm not sure I can answer. There really is no timetable in a players development. Some progress faster than others. What you really want to see is sustained, continual improvement. Factors that influence the decision to trade, release, or keep a player are constantly changing based on the organizations needs. Anotherm influencing factor is the quality of the new players coming into the organization.

Some already have, and I appreciate it. I've been away for a year and will take all the help I can get. :)
