Back-up plan info on Southern Gold Tournament

    As a back-up plan, can anyone share information on the park and surrounding hotels for the ASA Gold Southern Territory Championship to be held in Raliegh, NC in August for those teams that do not qualify for Gold Nationals.

    Address of parks and suggested hotels would be great. (JUST IN CASE)

    Didn't know!

    You got me but Homewood Suites are great and a couple Hampton Inns are workable. I am thinking of giving Gold a shot. Rick Mchone could give you more information.

    my visiting teams... They did great job back in 2005 and 2006 when I hosted the NCAA D3 National.

    Come on and join us, the water is fine! (lots of sharks, but the water is fine)

    Closest 2 Gold qualifiers that you can automatically get in are in Auburndale, FL June 18-20 and Marietta, GA July 9-11. The VA sector has not announced theirs yet, but that would be a 3rd choice if they open it up to outside teams. The other regular sector tournament for us is in TX. Little hard for me to make.

    Info on the ASA Southern Gold

    We will host the ASA Southern Gold along with ASA Southern 18A Nationals in Raleigh. Unfortunately I don't have all the info yet. We, NC ASA, and the Raleigh folks will meet Jan. 20th to work out all the particulars. I will let everyone know what comes from that.
