    Thanks for the updates

    I have known Kasie and the family for a long time. Ive played softball with her in Middle school and at independence. Thank you for all of the updates. kasie is a Strong girl and I know she will make it through. We're praying for ya #8.

    Another Update

    Kasie is not improving and they were supposed to do surgery this afternoon. There is a website where U can put your thoughts and prayers for her. kasiegoens.com is the site!

    Let's all pray for this young lady, she is such a great person.

    God I know this is so tuff for you great softball family members who have been so close to Kasie and more Prayers heading her way!!

    FYI

    Website I gave does not seem to be coming up properly, Sorry! That is what I was given. On another note, the Lady Blues have taken up a collection for the family to help defer some of their expense. If anyone else or any team wants to add to this collection, please contact me at 704-815-2103 and I will be glad to make sure your donations make it to the Goens. We called Kasie mother this weekend but were not able to reach her so I have no real updates. As soon as I can get some information, I will post. Again thanks to all of U for your prayers and thoughts. RET

    Update

    Spoke to Kathy, Kasie mother for about 15 minutes last night. She is over come by the out pouring of prayers and well wishers that have contacted her. Many of the young friends of Kasie have been down to see her many times already. She has a touch of pneumonia and is having surgery today but seems to be holding steady. She cracked her skull on the left hand side and of course has caused damage to the brain. Each cat scan shows very minor healing but healing is taking place. To get an update, call 252-287-4511 and there are updates supplied each day. Also the website is working and Kathy was touched by all the wonderful prayers and thoughts sent.
    Thanks to all of U for the out pour of kindness for this family.

    Great News

    Got a call from Kasie's Mom last night and they are back in Charlotte! Kasie is making great progress and thanks to all your prayers is back in her home town at a Rehab hospital. She has a ways to go but WOW what a blessing so far. Thanks to all of U for your prayers and support for this young lady! Power of prayer works and this softball community is awesome! We raised over $800 for Kasie's parents to assist with hotels etc. and they are so thrilled to be home! Again, all of U assisted in the recovery of this young lady and I really do appreciate TBR for allowing me to request the support and to report on Kasie's progress. RET
