of all the collegs and universities hold camps during the winter often times specialty as well! My advice go to one where as said before the instruction is more personalized and your chance to get a good CLOSE look is more realistic. ALL of them are run by people/coaches who know the game in thosae that I have worked in and experienced!:D

Snow Hill is a standard, both the Hitting and the P/C later.

UNC-W fall camps do a great job.

Carolina is doing two weekends in December -- their staff is outstanding.

I think Campbell does camps in December as well -- never done that one.

Lots of camps out there. Don't know that one is any better than another -- got some good baseball coaches in the state. Camps aren't like they used to be though. Used to be lots of top players at camps (I guess there still are), but it seems with all the showcases and fall tournaments the "studs" may be outta gas (or money).

My suggestion, go to camp . . . and learn something. (and write it down in case you forget it).

NC State is holding a showcase on November 8 & 9 in Raleigh. If players are interested in the Wolfpack, this is where you want to be. Only the State coaches will be at this showcase. Information is on the Wolfpack Baseball web site.

The 8th Annual Orange County Hitting Camp will be held at Orange HS on November 15th from 9am-4:30pm. Cost is $40.00. Campers must preregister. The guest speaker will be UNC assistant coach Ned French. Camp counselors include professional and college players such as former UNC Tarheel and Detroit Tiger minor leager Chris Maples.
