    Tri-9 (4A) is beatin up on each other but I wouldn't be surprised to see a team or two make some bigtime noise come playoffs. Holly Springs is sittin at 6-1 in conference but I believe they've won 5 games by 1 run. Very evenly matched conference with lots of talent.

    Not sure how Rocky Mount is 4th and Ardrey Kell is 9th when AK beat RM pretty solidly....

    Of course AK also beat Marvin Ridge pretty soundly and MR is 8th....

    Not saying RM and MR aren't excellent teams - they are - just wondering how they do this stuff....

    No mention of Providence or Lake Norman (11-1 & defending 3A state champs)

    maxpreps does have a poll but its not accurate at all.

    East Rowan may not be 2nd best HS team overall in whole state, but they are very close. In fact based on what I've seen out of East Rowan so far, I've come a "hair" of just going ahead and telling Karlrocket to pencil them in for the finals again. Not saying they'll win the whole thing or even get out of a very tough west (so many other great teams), but East Rowan is just loaded. Haven't seen a weakness yet in 9-10 games.

    Where?? I clicked on the link and viewed 25 teams and no mention of Providence or Lake Norman...am I missing something here?

    Change the settings on the top to 4a. The poll you see know is like the sweet 16, covers all classifications.
