Baseball Simulator in Matthews

    The Athletic Republic has recently moved to a new Matthews, NC location and is offering specialized athletic training for baseball players. In addition to one-one one individualized training in its 7200 square foot facility, the Athletic Republic is pleased to offer the Charlotte area's only baseball simulator.

    The simulator is the closest thing to live batting practice you'll find. A full motion video of a pitcher syncs precisely with a Home plate pitching machine and delivers a pitched ball to the player. The machine can deliver a variety of pitches (curve ball, fastball, drop ball, etc) at speeds up to 90 mph. Its excellent for improving timing, recognizing and hitting various pitches.
