For those who may not know.... Tony Gwynn is the head coach for SDSU.

    For NC State:
Phil Davidson is starting Game 1
    Gib Hobson -- Game 2
    Jeff Stallings -- Game 3

Hobson and Stallings are both NC boys

Speaking of NCSU...heard anything about the freshman Matt Payne, pitcher from Alexander Central? Just curious what the word is on him.

Matt Payne, ACHS --> NC State

Know he's pitched 1 inning in a mop-up role against Delaware State in the 15-1 blow out. He retired all 3 batters he faced.

Ouch! Got two bud's playin in this game, one for USC and one for RU. Wonder who is in a better mood right now? I think I will only call one of them tonight. :xyzthumbs

Dang, sorry to hear about UNC-W... I know they love playing ACC teams and especially love beating them. They got some work to do against UM it looks like.
