    Be careful, you may get what you wish for and not like it! A machine will call those corners, knees, letters, and the K's will be more prominent!:arge:

    ....Hey StanMan, you are a trip! Virtual reality is cool.
    My DD is downstairs, right now boxing on the Wii.
    I'm glad to have her home for sure! And the Wii will entertain her long enough for the ink to dry on the check that momma is giving her for her bills at her apt.


    NO BS, virtual reality will be in our future training.
    Just like there is no more milk deliveries, you'll see no more printed newspapers. Thats gonna suck for us 6:00am brethren.

    The major league technology already available were applied to softball would increase K's assuming that it recorded a strike any time any part of the ball was in the zone. It would change the way pitchers pitched, though. There would be fewer called K's on the outside but more inside and up. Pitchers who could locate the fastball (or screwball) in would own the plate and then be able to throw on the outer third as the batters would have to look in more. Hitters would be virtually defenseless against girls who locate the fastball at 63/65 mph. The change up would also be called for a K much more often. Even in the college ranks it's difficult to get the change called as umps are often 'fooled' in the same the batter is.
