If anyone read the article this morning in the N@O about Charlie Montoyo's son Alex, you would hug your kids and be thankful for all the things we have.charlie(for those who don't know is the manager of Durham Bulls)-his son is 2 months old and has a heart condition. The poor child has already been through 2 open heart surgeries. You just never know-children truly are God's miracles and what better time of year to think about that than now-so do us all a favor, when you lay down tonight-say a special pray forCharlie and his family, but a special one for little Alex.

    Thanks Coach

Thanks for posting that Coach. Sometimes we all need to take a step back and look at things like this and realize what truly is important. My prayers go out to this family.

When I hear about people in situations like this, it reminds me of just how trivial the things I worry about really are. Thanks for sharing and I will certainly pray for Alex and his family.

Thanks for the info. I missed this in the N&O. We as coaches spend so much time away from our small children and family. Hearing about the difficulties of this little one certainly reminds me of what my priorities should be and how we can't take for granted any blessings from God.
