There have been several invited. We'll see tomorrow. DI is in a dead period. They cannot be off campus recruiting, unfortunately.

 

That's right...my fault

 

Any word on how the showcase went? Players that showed well? Colleges in attendance?

 

Started Cold warmed in the middle and cooled off at the end. Very well ran. Liked some of the extend position play. Very well attended. Great venue. Sure Braves will update later.

 

I'll be glad to post something later. But I would like to say the turnout was outstanding! There was a time that they were afraid they may have had to turn it into a 2 day event because of all the players that signed up. But they extended the day a little longer so everyone had an opportunity to show what they could do.

I would like to add that every player was evaluated and the schools that were not able to attend all have access to those evaluations. I have already had one school I spoke to about the players.

Coach Chris Anderson did an outstanding job organizing this event. They aren't easy....and to think he was able to keep the price down to $40 per person....well, I know one particular player that may have eaten that much in pizza (just kidding...it was a coach).

The problem is when you start mentioning particular names, there is someone always left out and people get upset. I will say there were many good looking ballplayers that attended and many of them are now on somebody's radar.

Oh...and I do have one picture I took, but I will save that one in case I ever need it; Blackmail you say? Nope...insurance.

I thought we all agreed what happened in Belmont stays in Belmont! I shouldn't have ever agreed to pictures but Braves seemed so trustworthy!! We old guys need to look after each other!!

LR Hats Help Some Alot

Braves, it takes me longer to put two and two together but I think I now know who you are. I would hate to see you without the LR hat. So you know the number 78, 7, or 8 was not in the loto. Thanks for all you do.

 

You're right Freddy...but I'm going to stay with that combination until it wins. Something tells me "78" will become a common number
