Lee Swanson, coach of Belmont Abbey and Adrian Ochoa, coach at Queens are joining forces for a great skills camp to be held at Belmont Abbey January 29 and 30th, 2005. Hitting and fielding will be the agenda items. Saturday from 10-3 will be hitting skills and Sunday 1-4 will be fielding skills. As U all know, these two gentlemen have done well in the Division II CVAC conference and are highly respected coaches.

Abbey won the conference tournament and went to the regionals and Queens knocked off powerhouse Coker in a double header at the end of the regular season last Spring. :applause:

Come and get guidance on how to improve your skills as a fastpitch player and spend time with other players that want to improve.

Contact Adrian Ochoa, head coach at Queens University, Charlotte, NC or Lee Swanson, head coach, Belmont Abbey College, Belmont, NC for additional information.

Cost: $80 if received prior to January 17, 2005, $90 if received after January 17, 2005.
Teams with 10 or more attending: $65 each, $50 for one day.

** U can send your checks to Adrian Ochoa, 1900 Selywin Ave Charlotte NC 28274! :xyzthumbs :laugh1:

The Lady Blues player will surely attend! Rodney

    camp

I would contact Adrian or Lee and ask them about the camp. Sometimes it just helps to get in front of college coaches to get noticed. They all converse and if your daughter wants to play college ball, she may get on the radar screen of coaches. A pretty cheap way to get noticed and I have never attended a camp that something new did not arise. Hitting and fielding philosphies change as new method are discovered and as coaches educate and grow. Sounds like U have a talented young lady, good luck as she grows. RET

    Moved to next Sat. 10-5:30

Due to the predicted winter weather we will be moving our camp to next Saturday. We realize the inconvience, but your safety is the most important. The clinic will be from 10 to 5:30 next weekend hopefully under sunny skies.

    great camp

thanks from the Hunter Huss softball team to Coach Swanson and Coach Ochoa. This was an absolutely great clinic, one full day of great offensive and defensive drills. Thanks to the staff and players from Queens and Abbey. Great bunch of ball players, excellent attitutes and loads of encouragement directed to all the campers there today!!!! This is a clinic that we will return to and I highly recommend it to any level player, or organization. Good luck to Belmont Abbey tomorrow, looking forward to your first game this year :xyzthumbs
