    not yet but

The Abbey lost game one against Limestone 1-0 behind Keri Blackwelders one hitter (costly errors again) but won game two 6-3, Leigh Carter(South Point HS) is playing and generally hitting like the All Conference player she has earned this year. Congrats to LeighLeigh.....:applause:

her avg should be around .400 and all those doubles/HRs, she is an All-CVAC (D2) performer!!!!

Belmont Abbey swept a doubleheader today against St. Andrews. Keri Blackwelder pitched the first game and won 1-0. The Crusaders won the second game 3-1.

    I MESSED UP!!!

    GENTLEMEN:
I GOOFED...WHEN TALKING WITH KERI'S PARENTS, WE DISCUSSED BOTH THE GAMES WITH ST. ANDREWS AND QUEENS. I MUST HAVE GOT MY STORIES CONFUSED, I BELIEVE KERI DID PITCH THE FIRST GAME AGAINST QUEENS. MY BRAIN MUST BE FAILING ME IN MY OLD AGE. I'LL DO BETTER NEXT TIME. HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!
