    for the Abbey

    after watching Mt Olive at Limestone today(i talk alot :xyzthumbs)its real apparent the Abbey has a great shot at winning this years CVAC championship and alot of respect has been earned this year by the Abbey squad!

    to hear those two coaches and more, BAC Softball is the team to watch out for in Florence.(lol......i too am a better listener).

    CF who won today in that game. Can't find a score. By the way thanks. The girls do what is asked of them with little or no complaining. (from what I hear.)

    Mt Olive won.......game two the off speed pitcher had Limestone off balance the whole time. 2-1 in 8 or 9 innings and 5-0

    limestone suffering from their whole OF deciding not to play softball in '04 and a Canadian pitcher not returning South this year.

    Mt Olive is improving and impressed with the new staff and attitude there! :applause:

    Games were not played. Both coaches decided it was in the best interest to aim for conference games this late in the year.

    PS. Congrats to K. Blackwelder for CVAC pitcher of the week.
