Ben Fish to Campbell

Congratulations! Nice to have the pressure off and be able to enjoy your senior season.

 

Congratulations are in order...

Campbell is getting a heck of a ball player.

Ben Fish is one of the first players that I saw perform and absolutely wondered how it was possible that he had not already verbally committed somewhere at the time... especially for a capable backstop with a bat with power.

Nevermind, what a great kid he is. Very polite and and a hard worker. Of course it may also have a little to do about his high school coach Pat Smith at Rocky Mount - or even the time that he has had with Impact and the Dirtbags (and of course - Coach Kenny May along with Andy Partin).

 

Campbell is going to be good. This is a great pick up for them. I've always enjoyed watching Ben play. Kyle Brandenburg from Ragsdale is going there and he is killing it this year, from both sides of the plate. And his side arm stuff has beeen unhitable. Logan Self is also going there and he has hit 90 in a couple of times I have seen him. And throwing lots of strikes. With Fish catching they have got a great class. Those boys are going to have some fun.

Congratulations to Ben and all The Fish family for this tremendous accomplishment! Campbell is getting one of heckuva of a baseball player and a fine young man! Great young man and great family, Campbell baseball has gotten a great one.
