I have always liked using the TPX bats and the best one of theirs that I have used is the response. I would do the demo thing first because each company changes their grips up each year and they might be bigger or smaller than the other companies. I like TPX though and wish I still had it.

    liquid metal 2

The liquid metal 2 by rawlings is one of the best bats I know for the price. It's somewhere around $190.
It is a strong bat, doesn't dent easy at all. There are many players on my team who have it, and for the price, in my opinion, it is the best bat out there.

Stealth Re-Flex! At the top of my list. Approx. $300.00

Liquid metal! Second choice. Approx. $200.00

But, a real talented hitter can hit with a broom stick handle. :woohoo:

That's for another thread as well.

My son lists his top two:

    1. Liquid Metal

    2. Stealth

He has both and also had a Demarini but just got the LM after hitting with one at Elon's hitting camp. He got in the car talking about the feel and pop.

    Best Bat/1Cannon0

I like a lot of the forum members agree that the best bat is the one the player hits the best with, Natl Fed of State HS Assn. rule book states. 1) In diameter at thickest part ...wood - 2 3/4 inches or less 2) in diameter at thickest part...non-wood 2 5/8 inches or less 3) in length ..36 inches or less and 4) in weight...a bat shall not weigh numerically, more than three ounces less than the length of the bat (e.g.) a 33 inch-long bat cannot be less than 30 ounces. PLEASE NOTE>......effective January 1, 2006, no BESR label, sticker or decal will be permitted on any non=wood bat. :wtf23:

    Dollars!

What does that mean for all of us parents?
Will we all have to go out and buy a new bat without this label?
    Sounds like a conspiracy... :thud:

No, it means that the bat must be made with the BESR certification pre-printed on the bat. It cannot be applied later as a DECAL, since there have been incidents of forging decals.

You will find that most bats made the last two years have the BESR certification pre-printed in the paint job.
