    perhaps not a good subject to discuss as batting averages are only as good as the scorekeeper

    another trivia, how many batters in the ACC were above .400 BA? how about above .300?

    I know one HS player in Cabarrus Co. that ended her season this year with a .500 batting average.

    Not many !!!

    Most college hitters average between .285 - .325 reality check for all those high school years !!! This is still a good average for collegiate play though !!!

    OK.........according to the ACC website, there are 18 batters in womens softball above the .300 BA for the 2008 season. That's an average of about 2 per team.

    How many above the .400 mark? Zero.
