    I dont think they come any better than those of my kids in Roxboro. Man, you should have seen the spread today at the scrimmage... The mom's did a heckuva job with the chips, sandwiches, etc... BigByrd and PRD did a fine job providing drinks, holding up the line filling their plates (oops, did I say that???:thud: :woohoo:). Seriously, they were great, and we had a good crowd with us today...

    BRAVES-- you missed some good eating and a few good lies from BigByrd and PRD!!

    Well said Coach

    I second that Coach. Person County fans are loyal and dependable. We can always count on good support in every sport. I think yesterday was a perfect example of their loyalty with the weather conditions like they were. The forecast had been for partly cloudy with 62 degree temperatures. The way that wind was gusting it felt at times more like the high 30's or low 40's, also the fans had to endure that sandblasting effect every time you walked by in front of them from all that sand blowing out of your pockets. :woot:

    Braves knows who was telling the biggest ones!!!!
    I would like to express a big THANK YOU to all our parents for there support and for supplying food and Drinks to the team and Coaches. Yes Braves we made sure Coach Evans and Coach Tuck got to eat also!!!! LOL!!
    A special thank you to Taffy Jones (Senior OF Cody Jones mom)for her leadership in getting the food together!!! Good Baseball and good fellowship. It don't get no better than that!!!! Thanks to Southern Alalmance for having the Rockets!!!!

    I know that Person's has a great fan base and very loyal families supporting all of their sports programs (especially baseball)...that's why I like to kid around with you guys. I just hope that the families involved in the baseball program realize how fortunate you are to have such a great coach...and person (no pun intended)

    I'm glad that you had a great time and I hope that you keep your invitation open for me to attend one of your games this year
