What are your favorite restaurants and where?

If I'm in the Wilson/Rocky Mount area I must stop at Bill Ellis' BBQ. Some prefer Parker's, but I like the waitresses better at Bill's.

I'd love to hear from Wilmington. the mountains and out of the way towns. Seafood, down home cooking, BBQ, Mexican and any other place that is special.

Thank you in advance. As you can tell, I'm hungry

McCall's BBQ and Seafood was very good. Usually a buffet is not my cup of tea, but this place kept it fresh.

    Located in Goldsboro, NC

And my favorite eastern restaurant: The Beef Mastor

You select the thickness of your steak and they cook it to perfection.

Another fine restaurant found in Wilson

I have put this place in my blackberry Braves!!!!!

If ball ever brings anyone Mount Airy way make sure you try the world famous Snappy Lunch and the pork chop sandwich (signed disclaimer required for those prone to heart disease!); 13 Bones for their unique baby back ribs is also something you cannot find elsewhere. Finally, 308 Bistro and the all you can eat catfish on Friday will have you leaving a few pounds heavier.

I am also going to put in a plug for a BBQ joint in Monroe.. Big Bob's.. unique Alabama style BBQ chicken.

It's worth it. There are no reservations and often times you have a line to get in. It only has a few tables, but they serve you drinks while you wait-----outside!
