Best Softball Fields

    This was kind of started in another thread,
    NO TELLING WHO HAS THE WORST! I would just like to know the best fields out there.

    The one's we've played on:

    North Davidson

    Alexander Central

    Okay, I'll say it, CENTRAL CABARRUS. By far has to be the top field in the state. When ND also has some nice facilities.

    Best I've Ever Seen !!!

    The best I've ever seen are the facilities in Myrtle Beach...Cal Ripken Facility is the most constructive facility I've ever laid my eyes on !!! It has everything from mini practice fields to multiple batting cages..and artificial turf fields...it is softball heaven....if your kids have never been there you ought to plan to go this Summer.....softball Disney Land !!!!

    Erwin High School in Asheville, NC has an Awesome Field and adds more improvements each year. The home side dugout includes the girls heated locker room (no sharing with basketball in the gym). Batting cages, pitchers warm up mounds. Great concessions! Its really a top notch field for Western NC

    I've tried to find pictures of the ripken facilities. Does anyone know where you can find pictures of the facility online, or has pictures they can post?

    A good friend of mine is the national clinic director for Ripken Baseball. He emailed me some pic's a few months ago of the MB softball complex. I will try to find them and post.

    It's a nice place.

    Jennie Finch is involved with Ripken on this in some way, so there may be photos of the fields on one of her sites.

    Take It From The GURU !!

    This place is an experience for kids of all ages, even the 18 & Under Showcase kids loved the facility...I'm telling you it is like Disney Land for the softball lover...GURU...............:cool2:
