Not sure about what you mean but...... No!!!! One was a coach and yes the other was a father of a player later. And also a big supporter of baseball. He is all about earning what you get, none of this we did this so now she has a spot. She earned it as a player. She played college level ball at a D-2 program (all four years). This work was done over several years. Back during a time it was about teamwork and have something needed. Many weekends and days after work. Time & money. The girls (team) did fundraisers and the a lot of the labor work was done by all for free. The point was to show what many coaches and people get for effort to improve things. Nothing ..... no thanks ..... nothing.

    ??????

EofR... While my kids don't go to Parkland you need to know the WSFCS system does not provide anywhere close to reasonable baseball or softball fields for the Schools to play on. At Reagan both fields had to basically be plowed up and rebuilt after the contractor left. Fields were dangerous and would have put players at great risk..
The Parkland Softball field has been the incubator for players in baseball like Levy Micheals and many other players that played on the MAriners as well as local Softball and under 12 baseball teams. The two individulas that built the field provided the Schools system a facility worth hundreds of thousands of dollars and were basically slapped at a later date due mostly to political correctness in our county.
Little is said when the Gym is open at different times but let someone volunteer to cut grass on as softball or baseball field and everyone want to know the what selfserving motive they have .. these two guys are golden... we need more like them...

THANKS For the support. Regan has also done a ton and spent many thousand on their fields. Where do you get the money? I know that the wrestling coach has had some events held in the gym. And yes he still has to play for the use, clean up and not even the booster club would not even help with concessions. He said they could have the deal. He uses those events as fundrasiers. He has had to purchase the singlets, sweats and pay entry fees to weekend duals at other places. Look at what he has done for the program. Still has to beg. Great school system?
