My 2012 is visiting there and a couple others this weekend, coaching staff seems to have it "going on" , very on top of everything.

Agreed. Of all the college coaches I've come across who have really been open and willing to talk with such a young coach like myself, he's handsdown the best. I am sure players enjoy playing for him.

    The Camp

I was wondering how the camp went. Did they have a lot of players show up. How about the talent! I am a Allingham McCay and Walsh fan and I want to see them build a great program!Just wondered if anybody had any commits!

    Great camp

My son had a great time yesterday at Brevard College. We were very impressed with Head Coach Matt McCay. Coach McCay seemed very interested in each camper giving some individual talks and instruction.
I guess there was about 30 campers which gave each player the ability to showcase two positions each. All players were able to hit two rounds with Coach McCay on the hill praising or teaching when needed. Each pitcher threw an individual bullpen with instruction, then threw to 4 or 5 batters in live game situations. The camp ended about 5:30 with smiles and handshakes from all who attended. I'm very sure Brevard is on the rise and will be interested to follow their 2012 season.
