    is Brian Goodwin still with the UNC baseball program? someone mentioned something; wasn't sure?

    UNC Press Release re Goodwin

    CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - University of North Carolina sophomore outfielder Brian Goodwin has been suspended for the 2011 spring semester for violating University policy. He plans to return to North Carolina for the 2011-12 academic year. Goodwin, a native of Rocky Mount, N.C., started all 60 games last year, batted .291 and was a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America.

    This case is not related to the University and NCAA’s investigation into the North Carolina football program.

    Any thoughts on where he will be in the spring...seen a lot of things saying Pitt CC...kid is an incredible ball player

    add him to others

    add him to the outfield with the Gause kid who had committed to State who also is a pitcher

    Gause will not play this year, he's had labrum surgery. If he did ,he would not be playing outfield. He's pitcher only.

    add him to others

    add him to the outfield with Ryan Stetson and that's 2/3 of a very fine outfield!

    Is that the school that CSI: Miami frequents and Horatio lays down the law?

    Seriously, good luck to this guy even though he's a Tarheel. Hope to see him playin for the A's one day.
