    Brian's a good kid, and has a bright future. I'm sure he'll go high in the June Draft.
    Note: 8 outfielders were taken in the 1st round last year.

    Mock draft prediction from a Royals scout

    21) Blue Jays OF Brian Goodwin Toolsy OF who transferred out of North Carolina for this draft. He could shoot much higher come draft day but the former HS All American could be the future successor to Vernon Wells in Toronto. Very fast with pop he is one of several top tier CF talents.

    Nice praise but he better get a move on if he is gonna be Wells' successor since Wells is now with the Angels.
