Brooks Kennedy to 49ers!

    We are very proud to inform you that Brooks Kennedy (2014 EC
    Prospects/South Mecklenburg High School) verbally committed to the
    Charlotte 49ers! We look forward to following the inevitable success
    and experiences Brooks will have in CUSA.

    Brooks is a phenomenal teammate and his dedication to constantly
    growing as a player is unrivaled. He has, and will continue to be, a
    wonderful ambassador to this program. Congratulations to Coach Hibbs
    and the Charlotte 49ers Baseball Staff for recognizing the talent and
    potential Brooks consistently brings on and off the field. We would
    also like to recognize and thank Coach Tuscan and Coach Colandro from
    South Mecklenburg High School for their efforts and support.

    We would like to especially congratulate Brooks' parents, Gerald and
    Nicki, as well as his brother, Zac (2005 On Deck O's), during this
    exciting time!

    Brooks joins ECP teammate, Sean Collins (Weddington HS), who committed
    to the University of Virginia, as the first two commitments from the
    2014 class.
