    Who are the significant "brothers" to play high school or college baseball in North Carolina? Never really heard of any.....but again, I haven't been around as long as some of you.

    Are there any famous NC brother combo's out there in HS or college baseball?
    If so, how far did they go in the game? Did any from NC make the minors or majors? Stupid question, but I was just curious....

    Darryl and Trevor Lawhorn. I believe they played their high school ball at New Hanover HS in Wilmington. Darryl went to ECU; Trevor to Barton, but later transferred to ECU. Both had outstanding collegiate careers and both were drafted, but I've lost track of them since then.

    George, Gerald and Gary Marshall played at Northwest Cabarrus HS in early 70's. Helped lead NW to state runnerup in 71 (I believe) and 3A state champs following year. George was drafted and played in Mets organization, later played a lot of slowpitch softball for national powerhouses. Gerald was killed in a motorcycle accident,,, haven't heard much about Gary.

    I'm sure CountryBoy17 can add some about these 3 brothers.

    Btw East,,,,, I'm not sure Jimmy and Steve Streater played at Sylva-Webster HS at the same time, did they? I was thinking Jimmy came along later, could be wrong.
