Bryan Tyson new AD of Cabarrus County

    Wanted to let people know that a good friend of mine that many of you know, Bryan Tyson, has resigned as head coach at Mt. Pleasant to become the Athletic Director for Cabarrus County Schools.
    Worked with Bryan at Central Cabarrus and he is a great baseball man who loves the game and had some outstanding teams during his years in baseball in the county. Happy for him....but the game has lost a great teacher. Wish him the best when you get a chance. Coach Knight

    Congrats to Mr. Tyson, but........................

    With all due respect, why does a county school system need an Athletic Director? Seems to me that when counties start with the "have to cut teachers because of the budget" talk, the athletic directors role should be considered for elimination as well. :N1amenHL2:

    Any word on who will replace Bryan as Head Coach at Mt. Pleasant? I'd hope Jason Hooks would be considered.
