Does anyone know how Freedom and East Burke are looking this year?
What do both teams have as far as pitching?

outside looking in.......cold day in Marion when i watched and hard to honestly gauge them but previewing them early was Fun.

You can tell when pitchers work during the so called "off season"....great job to those young ladies!!

    Pitching

Freedom has the Ashley Hasson kid back, she's sophomore who won 8 or 9 games for them last year. They also have the Davis kid, who has been recovering from ACL surgery.

Not sure about East Burke, I know the Sigmon kid is pretty good, and moves the ball well.

I watched the games in Marion and the Hasson kid ( Freedom) looked great they played 3 games and won all three Weddington,Bunker Hill and St Stephens and heard that there was only 2 runs scored on them all day.
I also watched E. Burke the same day and saw all three of their pitchers Sigmon looked good the freshman was ok but could use more speed, but moves the ball ok and saw another pitcher they had and she moved the ball ok too. Time will tell how all do ..... Lets Play Softball.......

    Let you know

St. Stephens held 4 starters out of the Freedom game. #1 and #2 pitcher didn't even play. They only pitched 2 innings in 3 games. Youn know St. was doing alot of looking at Marion. At Kings Mountain they played there starters more.
