Butler v. ND Championship Game

Can some of you who were there comment about the two final games? I did not get to see it and would love to know how the games went with the pitching, hitting, etc. Thanks!

You are somewhat right I didnt have much to do with it. No cocah does no matter what they think. But It was EVERY player on the team that contributed to their success and Championship, not just the girls from one summer program. Our Bulldogs play summer ball for maybe three or four good summer programs. and I thank all of those programs for their part in making the Butler team what it is.

NORTH DAVIDSON AWESOME

Congradulations also to NORTH DAVIDSON for a great tournament. You done something no other team was able to. You defeated both unbeaten teams in the state. You may not have won the metal but in our hearts you were AWESOME. Not taking anything away from Butler {also awesome}, but everyone there knows a play here or there and the outcome could have been different. Some things are just meant to be, but you ladies left everything you had on the field and I think you earned the respect you deserved. Thanks to all the butler fans that came by and had nothing but good things to say. Great sportsmanship and a well deserved championship. THANKS NORTH DAVIDSON FOR AN AWESOME YEAR.

The ND team, coaches and parents were all first class folks. It was a pleasure to play at that level against such an awsome program. You are not taking anything away from us by saying that one play may have made the outcome different. We spoke about that all weekend It was true when we played each other as well I think when each of us played WF. WF has a great program also but just came up one run short in a few games.
To win the states a team has to be strong as WF ND and Butler and others are. But you also need a little luck to get gold. We at Butler know we had some luck in winning this year. all Champions need that to win at this level. We also know that ND or WF could have been there in place of us. and are thankful we made it all the way.
Good luck to ND and WF next year and maybe if we are all fortunate we will have a rematch next year.
