Brian Parker pitched his second good game in a row. (Pitched 7 shutout innings against Charlotte Christian last week) Danny Hermann got the save even though he walked in two runs in the 6th.

Hermann also had the big hit of the game with a 3 run double.

Braves, I thought about your prediction yesterday when MP advanced to the championship game. My team (CC) is out, all those NW and WStanly predictions are out now too. Its all coming down to Kannapolis and Mt.Pleasant. If Taylor now does what you predicted,,,,,, then I need to take you to Vegas... :)

nice performance by george smith from mount. a pair of 2-run homers today. and of course, congrats to the kids from kannapolis. it was a good game, with the lead switching hands several times. in the end, the boys from k-town had the final say. congrats to both teams on a great tourney. :applause:

What about Atlantic City.....great job by both teams. It appears that the Wonders are hitting their stride at the right time.

The winning pitcher was Robert Bowers, in relief of Brett Bartles.
