Caldwell County Post 29

no excuses needed a really good team just kicked our butts. and the sun was not in our eyes either.

 

Moose you're the exception to the rule if you're not making excuses. I'm waiting for somebody to say that some of the caldwell players are still gone to the HS state playoffs. You're also the first person that I recall saying that Caldwell County just got beat. You can't win them all. Of all teams, Caldwell County should know that. As far as the sun, are you sure about that? Surely there has to be a reason why only 3 of the mighty Post 29ers managed to get a hit. I guess they're just saving those bats for the state tournament.

I'm trying to stay out of this...but give me a break!!!! Why didn't you just forfiet and head to the State if that is all you are focusing on at this point.

I guess we and every other team left in the playoffs don't have to be carefull on "how they approach the State Tournament"...what it sounds like you are saying is you aren't sure if you can get through another series and "survive" the State Tournament.

Get back on the games and let's stop all the Coach Hamby and Bobby Dale "bashing"....true baseball fans don't care....Talk about the GAMES...Pineville is playing some good baseball right now...give a little credit to the players and not that Caldwell is saving up for the Big Dance...AAAAAAHHH!!!:banginghe :banginghe :banginghe

Opinions are fine...but talk about the game. Talk about the bad calls the umpire made at the plate and at first (you're right, they were horrible), talk about the errors, talk about the good plays, the home runs by both teams...just stop tryinhg to sell the series is not important to your team...if it wasn't they would not be on the field....it was just my opinion

 

did'nt say the series wasn't important......just maybe not as important as the state tournament....its all about position, talent and a lot of luck
