    Not Likely.....you could be right .....but I don't think so....Good Series....More to Come . Granite Falls had better have the Police there tonight....Game 3 ....Cherryville in town....series tied....fireworks tonight in Granite Falls...just hope everyone stay's safe

    Messer was ejected for running over the catcher on a play at the plate.

    Messer might have had a flash back and thought he was playing football, that happens sometimes from running backs

    Jimmy Messer will not have to sit our tonight's game after the ejection last night at home plate. I confirmed this during last nights game when talking to Jimmy.

    Seems like that decision would come from the umpires/commissioner after the game/next day.

    Question

    Has that always been a rule? I was surprised that he even got tossed. I thought I remembered from years back that in Legion Ball you didn't have to slide, just like in MLB.
