    I've been waiting a whole year getting ready for Sumo vs Carolina Man posts, as well as others to chime in. But it has been almost..............civil.....this year. What's happened? I'm beginning to believe you guys like or at least respect each other.

    I love a Caldwell vs Cherryville series...it's a blast!!!!!!:bike:

    Yep...and was one of the biggest reasons I asked for the American Legion forum. There were a lot of good reasons to start this, but TBR baseball is a different "environment"...think family rated. This is a little more PG- 13. So I thought it would be good to separate the two.

    But you know the real reason you love legion ball so much is the PASSION us folks have for our home turfs... :patriot: For that, legion ball is indeed special.

    Btw, I may meet you for a Caldwell/Cherryville game if that series ever materializes, since we have now packed it in, I actually have some free time. Would be good to see my bud DownSouth again and maybe meet CarolinaMan and those fine CHURAVILLE folk too.....

    You are absolutely right, tj. I love Legion ball!!!! I just don't like the politics.

    LOL..yes it has been civil this year....its getting playoff time and things usually heat up real good about this time of year. But you are right about one thing, I do respect their program...they have done a good job over the years on the ballfield and in the political arena as well. I don't respect that part to well....but like them....no I can't go that far...Plus I don't want to get kicked off here with a show of to much passion....LOL....Good luck to all teams...unless of course, they are playing CALDWELL COUNTY POST 29

    Great Idea to give it a special forum..Every year during legion season I almost get kicked off TBR and usually has something to do with Cherry's... LOL... I swear every time we go to their park, it is right on the edge of a fight... I really hope that never happens...but you never know
