Yes I too came away impressed with the Caldwell bats last night. They look mighty good swinging the sticks. Carolina Man and I spoke of some of the great baseball that is played in the tournament and there was no knife fights at all. It turns out he is not a troll living under the bridge on 321..... seems like a good kinda fella that loves his baseball. Cherryville got an impressive performance out of Hastings last night and a clutch homerun from Sam Travis to win the game. Small things hurt Cherryville last night, bunting, and base running seemed to hinder them all night long. But in this you survive and advance each day and see what happens.

Great pitching performance from Seth Weekly holding the Whiteville bats down for 6 innings. Post 100 flexed a little power with three homers, 2 by Tyler Shumate the DH for the night. Post 100 defense looked pretty solid last night and turned three double plays to get out of innings. Whiteville as well showed a lot of power with two homeruns and the last one was hit by a substitute #22 and I aint sure it has landed as of yet...... Dont know how but they find themselves in the championship bracket facing Wilmington tonight at 730! Now would be a good time for all baseball fans to come on out to Caldwell and support the Post 100 team! I even heard Carolina Man may be purchasing Hot Dogs for first 200 fans in the door!!!!!!!
