LOL...that is a fact...Godfather2 is jumping luigiboy...a huge Cherryville fan. If I could only get Sumo on here...we would have one hell of a debate...but we know that can't happen...The guys with TBR would blow a gasket trying to delete all the post and threads....funny to think about it tho

LOL I assume that's a jab at me for being from Cherryville. You're right about me being from C'ville, but I have lived in the almighty QC for a while. As a matter of fact, based on my proximity to Myers Park HS, I would have been more eligible than your game 2 starter.

Bad blood between Charlotte and Caldwell County goes back to 2007 (before that too, I imagine) when David Mailman of Providence HS drilled Madison Bumgarner in his throwing arm with the first pitch to Madison in the bottom of the first inning in their 2007 HS playoffs matchup.....I thought the Sawmills crowd was going to charge the field. As a lefty pitcher batting righty, Madison's valuable left arm was exposed to incoming pitches of malice.

Mailman was a 7th round pick of the Red Sox, so he had some giddy-up on the FB...of course Mr. Bumgarner has a $55 million contract to show for his talent and effort 5 years later....

Neither Caldwell nor Queen City are at fault. How is it possible that the players status was previously approved by a commissioner and later he is deemed ineligible? Legion Commssioners screw up sometimes BUT you don't put it on the young men, this is horrible management. Irrelevant who was wrong at team level, when you are a higher authority and it was your call, you eat it no matter what. Sure you fix it, but you NEVER assign blame or punishment. Normally, being a Reds fan I would simply say, ' Wait till next year' and move on but alas many of those young men will not be back. Horrible.

Agree 100%...and you are correct, the worst part of all this is the players not returning because of ageing out.

Gritty performance by Post 100 who fell behind 3-0 thru six innings. Dylan Hastings pitched all 10 for Post 100 and Thomas Bess hit a walk off 3 run homer! Now as far as a civil debate I am up for the challenge..... So whats the hot topic
