    game 1 - Stanly Co. 4 - Surry Co. 2......stanly won, not sure of the score.

    game 2 - Kannapolis 501 3 - Chapel Hill 1

    wp- nolan patterson (1 hitter)
    lp-??? (good pitcher)

    In the late game of the tourney caldwell edged douglasville, ga 1-0 in 8 innings. a great game by both teams the third basemen from douglasville made some spectacular diving plays to save them from a couple big innings and the pitcher did a great job keeping caldwell off the board until the 8th inning with a double and then 2 straight singles.

    The lp ???? (good pitcher) was Greg Martin who was PAC 6 Conference Player of the Year.

    Who won the final game between Caldwell and Kannapolis? Chapel Hill beat Stanley County 7-3 in the consolation game.

    We (Chapel Hill) had a fun weekend and really enjoyed the tournament.

    kanapolis won the championship game by a score of 9-7 over caldwell
