Caldwell vs Rowan

    Best legion game I`ve seen so far. Good pitching held two good hitting teams to a low score and a game won by inches. Defense was impressive. A seven game series would be something to see with these two. Rowan did not use front line pitching and I don`t think Caldwell did either. I don`t think anyone can stop these two from getting to ECU this summer. Not even the 100!:xyxthumbs:

    That was a great game and what a way to end!!!!! Bottom of 9th with tying run on third and two outs. Hot shot hit to third. Ball is knocked down and just for an instant the third baseman could not find the ball. This is where everything seemed to go into slow motion! You could hear everyone’s heart beat as the third baseman stood there looking for the ball and the runner on third breaks for home. At the last moment he finds the ball hiding behind his foot, picks it up and raffles it over to first to get the runner by maybe a half step. What a play and what a ball game. I have to say, I do not know the gentleman playing third for Caldwell but he was insane. Very impressive and makes it look so easy.
