Cardinals at Ronald McDonald in Houston

    We had a blast in Houston this past weekend.
    It was probably the most heavily recruited showcase we have ever attended. Lots and lots of colleges coaches.
    We did pretty well against some well known Gold level teams from all over the country. We finished up 3-2 overall.
    Cardinals 4 TX Blast Gold 6
    Cardinals 5 TX Lady Longhorns 0
    Cardinals 0 FL Clearwater Lady Bombers Gold 1
    Cardinals 9 CO Stars Gold 1
    Cardinals 5 AZ Outlaws Gold 0

    A great big "Thanks" go out to Kensley Loudermelk, Lexi Betancourt, and coach Jeff McPhail for going with us and helping out. It was great having them with us.
    Lexi and Kensley along with my Hayley Shelton, did fantastic jobs in the circle.
    I am very proud of the way our young ladys competed against the competition from around the country. It was good to see how we stack up against them.

    Super!! Congratulations!! Maybe some of that competition and those college coaches will be attracted our way.

    Congratulations with hanging with the best in the country.We are looking forward to a couple years down the road taking my 10u team and play there as 12's or 14's.It is for a great cause and looks incredible to play in and be a part of.

    hey ric, talked to a coach i know out there who stated your team looked fantastic. an excellent showing of carolina softball!!!! and, as he stated, "the most well behaved group of young ladies he has seen in years".........
