    Todd, I watched parts of several games. I didn't keep score, but the crushers won their 9:30pm game against the Rebels. I talked to many of the players and coaches, including Charlie, the NC Challengers coach. Our prayers are with his teams, girls, friends and family members of those involved in the terrible accident. I think all the teams are playing extra games. Seen several college scouts in attendence. They were allowing players to play on other teams if their team wasn't playing a game in that time slot. Enjoyed the games. Just wish they would use scoreboards.

    Ended up 2nd in pool next to CFS, based on runs allowed for the tournament. CFS (2), NCLL (4).
    Great tournament! Great competition and sportsmanship between all the teams. Saw lots of schoos in attendance. Really liked the fact that this was used as an evaluation tournament for the umpires as well. Saw a few really bad calls, and 1 ump that was totally not in the game, but all in all, really felt like they were trying to do their best job to impress their bosses as well.
