    The Carolina Cardinals (Chandler) battled back after a close 2-1 defeat in the championship game of the winners' bracket,to advance through the losers bracket and beat the Indy edge twice,to win the ASA National Championship!

    1st Game Score (winners bracket champioship game)
    Indy Edge-2
    Cardinals-1

    Losers Bracket Championship Game
    Cardinals-6
    Grand Slam-4

    Championship Final

    Game 1
    Cardinals-2
    Indy Edge-0

    Game 2: Champioship Final
    Cardinals-1
    Indy Edge-0

    Ray and young ladies this is a great thing for U and NC softball. We have stated all along we could compete and U sure showed it! The Lady Blues certainly understand what an effort it took to win this tourney with 143 other teams standing in your way! Awesome performance by a great group! Look forward to seeing U guys soon. NC Cardinals the best ASA A team in the country.:twocents:

    Good job by the Cardinals! I am happy for your girls, that is a great accomplishment and it shows that the state of NC is one to be reckoned with! :trophy:

    agree Jay, along with a great group of kids, excellent coaches and very supportive parents, great program and rep'd NC with excellence. WAY TO GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We from Triangle Lightning wanted to let you know how proud we are for you and thank you sincerely for bringing home a national championship for North Carolina. It's great that the rest of the country can see that North Carolina softball is championship quality.:woohoo:
