Due to a high level of interest and numerous requests, the Carolina Cardinals will be fielding a second 14U team for 2007. This team will be based in the Triad area and the coach as well as tryout dates will be announced soon.

For those interested in trying out, please contact Ben McKinney at [email protected] with your info and/or questions. (day)336-778-2278 or (home) 336-766-3247.

All of the Cardinal teams will seek to play the best competition possible. This will include local tournaments and travel to neighboring states for national qualifiers and national tournaments.

    Clearing up some confusion

There have been several questions asked about the Carolina Cardinals 14U teams that are now forming. Hopefully this will clear up some of the confusion.
    1) We are in the process of forming two (2) Carolina Cardinals 14U "A" teams.

    2) One "14U A" team will be based in the Charlotte area and coached by Carol Kurtz, formerly of the Outlaws-Black 12U team.

    3) One "14U A" team will be based in the Triad area. We are presently seeking a head coach. Ben McKinney is presently fielding phone calls and e mails for tryout info.

Both teams will be comprised of the highest caliber talent from their respective regions.
We hope this answers some of the questions that have been asked.
