:applause: The Carolina Cobras 14u captured 1st place in the AAU Pizza Hut Showdown this weekend in Concord,NC.There were 13 teams in the 14u group, several being pretty strong teams.Congratulations to the Carolina Curve Blue 12u for a strong 2nd.They have an awesome team & I feel no other 12u team around will have anything for this group, when they drop to 12u.The Cobras would like to send out their thoughts & prayers to the Curve player who was severly injured in the game before. If anyone knows her name please pass it along, so we can check on her.Great job Cobras!!!!!!!

    Carolina Cobras take AAU

Thanks CF,the Cobras are going to take a couple a weeks off, have played 4 weeks in a row.I believe their next tour is the NSA NIT in Statesville, 4-16,17,18.If you want to see some great 14u teams this should be it.There are for the most part some solid "A" 14u teams in this one.I would also like to say, that I enjoyed talking ball with Comet Fan Sat.night at Flowe Park.I really like his opinion on the 3a ihigh softball poll,& enjoyed hearing bout the Hillcreast-CC game.

:xyzthumbs Congratulations 14u Cobras. Nice talking with you Saturday softball nut. Tell Morgan to keep up the good work. We lost our(Carolina Comets) first game this am. I don't know who won the 16u bracket. I will post when I find out. Probably see you in Statesville, or a softball field somewhere!

    AAu Tournament

Congrats. to Carolina Cobars on win. My team finished 4th lost 2nd game and into losers bracket witch is a dark hole. We fought back and finished 4th. Not bad concerning our 2nd basewoman went to hospital on Sat.(ambulance had to come and take her) Our 1st basewoman cleated in ankle, 1st Pitcher hit in hand batting, catcher hit in throat in practice we do not need another coach but a team Doctor. I do have one problem!!! I would like to see the standings of all the teams (WON/LOSE) in order. AAU or NSA do not show this. WHY!!! I know they can not do this next day but within a week they should. I do not Know who the powers to be are but can some body who knows tell them to do this. 8 teams went home before us so we did not do not fell to bad.

    Congrats to the Cobras

Congrats to the Cobras. First place in last week's AAU tournament is very impressive. What a great group of players. Morgan Peeler is a pitcher that gives our team a lot of fits. Looking forward to seeing the Cobras play April 17-18, in Statesville. There is like 17 teams signed up for that tournament. :applause:
