    Carolina Comets 12u Teal Wins Sweet 16

    Last night (Saturday) the 12u Carolina Comets played the JC Clippers, who was picked to win the tournament, for 1 hour before the rain and they left tied 1 to 1. They finished this morning after another 1 hour and 26 minutes winning 2 to 1 (yes a total of 2 hours and 26 minutes for the game). What a great game and by the way the Carolina Comets did win the Sweet Sixteen A Bracket winning 6 games and no loses. Coach Roger McGuffey is doing a great job with his Carolina Comets team. The Comets are a very solid 12u fastpitch team. This was their 2nd tournament win in a row. The Carolina Comets 14u placed 1st in the Silver bracket in Gastonia in a rain shortened event.
