CAROLINA NINE 16U - ADDITIONAL TRYOUT - AUGUST 28, 2010

    The Carolina Nine 16u Showcase team will have an additional tryout on Saturday, August 28, at 10 a.m.

    The tryout will take place at Wilson Hunt High School, located in Wilson, NC.

    This tryout is open to anyone in the 2014, 2013, and depending on your d.o.b., 2012 classes

    This tryout will consist of a pro-style workout, with players being graded on arm strength, speed, defensive ability and hitting. All players will run the 60-yd dash and be given the opportunity to show their skills at various positions if they choose. All catchers will be timed on throws to 2nd and all pitchers will throw a short bullpen.

    The tryout fee is $25 (non-refundable), and if you are selected for the team, the cost will be only $300. We will play 6-8 dates this fall, with the first being in Wilson at Barton College & Fleming Stadium Sept. 11-12. All checks can be made payable to Carolina Nine Baseball.
