Carolina Stars 12U- McKinney, Individual Tryouts

The Carolina Stars 12U-McKinney, are looking to add 1 or 2 committed players to our team for the 2007 season and beyond. In 2007 we will be a second year 12U team and we are looking for players that can move up in age with the team. We look for players who understand the team concept and who over the next 5-6 years, are looking to gain the skills and habits that are looked for by college coaches. We are based near Winston-Salem and currently have players on our team from all around central and western NC.

The Carolina Stars began playing in the fall of 1999. Since then we have competed in local and national tournaments and placed in the top 3 in over 80% of the tournaments played. We are also are proud to say over half of the girls from our first team are or will be playing softball in college.

To play the best competition, in 2007 we will play mostly ASA tournaments. We have an indoor facility we use for practice over the winter and we are planning to play 5-6 tournaments this fall. In the spring and summer of 2007, we will play a full schedule of 12-14 tournaments.
